Go to the settings in your MAG device and choose “video”.

Please use the following settings as shown in the image below (1280×720) and make sure “auto resolution” is off:

After that click OK and save the settings.

Next go to “servers” in the settings and choose “portals”
If you can’t see the option “servers” directly in your settings, go to the “inner portal” first.

In the portal settings use the following information on “Portal 2” as seen on the image below:

Now you’ll have Portal 1 and 2 active. Click OK and save the portal settings.
Portal 1 name -> IPTV (portal server from IPTV King)
Portal 2 name -> Smart IPTV (portal server from Smart IPTV)

Given names will be given as option when the device is booting up. Now go back and “Reboot Portal”.

When the device boots up, it will ask you to choose a portal name (the ones written above for example).
Choose “Smart IPTV” and Smart IPTV screen will boot up. You will see an example list and your MAC address. Use the given MAC address to upload your m3u list.

Step 1: Click “+ New Line” can find left side on your Dashboard

Step 2: Choose a Package (Example: Trial, 1 Month, 2 Months…etc)

” if you want to edit Line Username (only simple letter and numbers without any space or any special character: a-z, 1-9, 5 to 15 characters). If you do not want to edit the Line Username will generate randomly from server.

Step 4: Select “Bouquet List” as per your client request.

Step 5: Note section can put anything you want or leave it blank.

Step 6: If you want to Assign your clients on Dashboard please click “Assign Dashboard”. After click “Assign Dashboard” please put Username (only simple letter and numbers without any space or any special character) then put Clients Email address.

N.B: For the existing clients, the account will be added to the client’s dashboard and for new clients, the login information will be sent to her/his Email address).

Step 7: Click “Create” to finish creating a New Line.

Now your new “Line” is ready to use.

For the portal system, you need to give your box MAC address to the IPTV provider and they will give you a portal address after adding MAC address in their database.

In M3U url system, the IPTV provider sends you a URL to setup IPTV and no need to add any MAC address in their system.

The portal base devices like old MAG boxes or TVIP boxes are not the best devices to watch IPTV. The portal system will disappear from market soon because it’s NOT secure and efficient.

If we want to list some old model of these devices we can mention MAG 250, MAG 254, MAG 256 , TVIP 410 and etc.
Even in the new model of MAG boxes, there is problem with portal system too. The IPTV providers do not support MAG 420 or MAG 520 with portal system because of different Stalker Middleware.

Before establishing a connection, you must make sure that you have got a working internet connection, a router that supports PPTP, and a VPN account. A VPN connection does not work on an ISP modem. In order to make your VPN connection work, you need to connect another router with your modem.

How to setup VPN on DD-WRT router

Step 1: Create an ethernet connection or a wireless connection from your router to your computer. Follow 1a if you are connecting Ethernet router and 1b for wireless connection.

Step 2: Click on the Basic Setup tab of the DD-WRT router. You can see a window with several entries. From the Connection Type drop-down menu, choose the PPTP.

Step 3: For the Use DHCP option, choose Yes.

Step 4: In the Gateway (PPTP Server), type the name of the server that you want to use (You can obtain a VPN connection from an online VPN shop) and write Username and Password in the relevant fields. In the additional PPTP option field, write refuse-eap.

Step 5: Now you must navigate to DHCP Server and make sure that it is enabled. Click on Apply Settings and then click on Save.

Step 6: Now you must go to the menu bar and click on Status and then click on the WAN tab. Click Connect in order to connect to your VPN provider.

All older Vu+ hardware set-top boxes are MIPS-powered, newer are all ARM-powered and uses Enigma2 image-based software as firmware. Its firmware is officially user-upgradable, since it is a Linux-based computer, as opposed to third-party “patching” of alternate receivers. Firmware is based on Enigma 2, which was originally designed for Dreambox by Dream Multimedia.

A summary of Enigma2 features

How to add IPTV channels to Enigma2 via autoscript

Step 1: Start by downloading the necessary items. DCC_E2 (Dreambox Control Center for Enigma2). You must connect to your Enigma box using Dreambox Control Center E2 and click on “Telenet“. But first, you must find the IP address of your enigma2 box. We will discuss this further ahead in this article.

Step 2: To connect, we need to know the box IP address, username, and password (username and password usually is root/root). Now about the IP, click Menu button on the remote controller. Go to Setting then Network Settings. You should see something like the below image:

Step 3: Once connected to your box via Dreambox Control Center, it`s time to execute the Autoscript command which should be provided by your IPTV provider. These scripts can be given in two versions:

• – OE1.6 version which uses Python 2.6: It is advised to use this version on non-Dreambox receivers.
• – OE2.0 version which uses Python 2.7: It is advised to use this version on Dreambox receivers.

So for our Dreambox of this example the command line should be like this:
wget -O /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh "http://tv.yourdns.com/get.php?username=your-line-username&password=your-line-password&type=enigma216_script&output=ts" && chmod 777 /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh && /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh

Copy/paste this command line on Telnet Terminal and hit enter.

Step 4: We suggest everyone to reboot the device once you execute the Autoscript command. To reboot the device just write “reboot” on Telnet terminal.

Step 5: After the Reboot, you will see on Bouquet list a new Group called “IPTV”.

How to add IPTV channels to SS IPTV

Step 1: To upload user playlist press “Settings” button of the main screen.

Step 2: There are two methods to upload your playlist.

1. Uploading by link (external playlists)
2. Uploading with non-permanent access code (internal playlists)

The user may have any number of external playlists and only one internal playlist with live channels and one with VoD streams (films).

To upload playlist by link go to the Content section of the app’s settings, choose External playlists subsection and click Add button below the screen. Enter the desired playlist’s title and the link of your playlist in corresponding fields and press Save button. The playlist will be available on the Main Screen through a separate tile.

Step 3: To upload a playlist with non-permanent code go to General subsection of the app’s settings and press Get code button. The non-permanent code can be used only 24 hours (or till new code is generated)

Step 4: Enter received code at this URL http://referer.us/http://ss-iptv.com/users/playlist and press Add Device button.

Step 5: When the connection was made select playlist file in your PC and upload it by pressing Save button. The internal playlist will be available through tile My playlist on the Main Screen.

New uploaded internal playlist replaces the older one.
